In this week's parsha Moshe performed his most breathtaking miracle when he split the sea. After completing this feat Moshe has the nation’s attention.
What does Moshe do at this point? He does not make a speech or teach some Halacha (rules). He sings a song with everyone.

Cantors and communal singing can bring people together in ways Rabbis cannot. Moses knew this experience of singing and dancing together was just as important as any Dvar Torah.
When someone says a speech or writes an article it is possible to misunderstand it or disagree. When people come together and sing and dance, at a wedding or a Shabbos table this is the apex of harmony and unity.
