Noach

1. Humans are made up of over 70% water, the earth is also over 70% water. The Maharal states that all the water in the world is one unit. Just as all life in the world is one unit.
David Klein told me this peice of Torah.
1. In Parshat Noach, the generation of the flood was wiped out with water . The generation of the tower of Babel was attempting to dethrone or shoot arrows at G-D. They were spread around the world as a punishment.
2. Why was the generation of the flood wiped out, but the generation of the tower of Babel was only spread out ?
3. The generation of the tower of Babel had a redeeming factor, they had unity. This is why G-D did not destroy them, they were building the Tower together as one community. The generation of the flood stole from each other which displayed a complete lack of unity and they had to be destroyed.
4. A man was on a boat and began to drill a hole under his seat. The rest of the passengers began to yell at him , he told them to mind their own business this was his seat. He did not understand that we are all one unit, we are all on the same boat. This message is crystallized in Parshat Noach when all of mankind must survive in the ark.
4. We have a pitcher of water and several cups of different shapes and sizes . We pour the water into the different cups and they each believe themselves to be different because of the differing vessels but in truth they are all just water. We are all the same, and we come from the same source. It is only our superficial exterior that causes us to believe we are different. We are one soul.
