Picture
1. In this week's parshah Joseph's prediction comes to fruition. His brothers bow down to him. If Joseph had not espoused his prediction his brothers might not have thrown him in to the pit and sold him to Egypt. This chain of events led to the prophecy coming true.

2. If Joseph did not explain his dream, would it have come true?

3. We don't know what would have happened if Joseph did not espouse his predictions. What we do know is that you manifest your own destiny. This is what Joseph believed.

4. A successful astrologer made several accurate predictions in the Middle Ages. One of his predictions was the day he would die. When the day arrived and he was perfectly fine he became a bit depressed. He became so despondent he commit suicide making his prediction correct.

Joseph and Moses had parallel origin stories . Joseph faced resistance when he got involved in the outside world, he was not popular among his brothers. The first time Moses went out to his people he killed an Egyptian. The second time he went out another Jew threatened to tell the authorities about the murder and Moses was forced to flee. When he got to Midyan he again interceded, just as Joseph did with interrupting the bakers dreams and then Pharohs dreams.

Winston Churchhill had a period during the early 1930's known as "the wilderness years". He was politically isolated , alone in his predictions of German domination. Drinking heavily. When he was needed he stepped up and became prime minister and got himself set up as the minister of war . He made speeches on the radio strengthening Britons resolve to fight the Nazis. He was named the most important person in England in the past 100 years.

Joseph and Moshe were both great leaders. Although they were first rejected by the very people they were trying to help. They stuck there neck out to save others and this did not always work out for them personally. However they never gave up and never stopped helping others.
